Artist Statement

Amira’s work relies on interactions and conversation as an archival laboratory archeological art object.

Constructing work from history, mythology, illegibility, and narrative, then unravelling the object as a reference and archeological object. Amira weaves through the historical, speculative, metaphorical, folk, and unreadable.
